27-yr-old man remains in custody after fatal Kilkenny stabbing

A 27-year-old man remains in Garda custody in Kilkenny this morning, in connection with the fatal stabbing of Mairead Moran in the city centre on Thursday evening.

Twenth-eight-year-old Ms Moran was stabbed to death at her workplace in broad daylight at around 8.30pm on Thursday evening in the Holland and Barrett shop at The Market Cross Shopping Centre in Kilkenny.
