A number of Irish companies offering jobs in manufacturing, healthcare and electronic engineering will be among some of the firms to attend a jobs fair in Dublin today.

A number of Irish companies offering jobs in manufacturing, healthcare and electronic engineering will be among some of the firms to attend a jobs fair in Dublin today.

The event is aimed at Irish and EU workers looking for jobs locally and across Europe.

The Department of Social Protection is holding the event in the Blanchardstown Centre from 12pm today.

Niamh Fitzgerald, Spokesperson for the Department of Social Protection, said: "There will be experts in other areas, such as CV preparation and business start-up, willing to give their advice."
