Former Anglo chief financial officer granted immunity from prosecution
A court has heard Matt Moran, the former chief financial officer of Anglo Irish Bank has been granted immunity from prosecution.
Mr Moran is giving evidence in the trial of former Anglo chairman Sean FitzPatrick and two of the bank's former directors Willie McAteer and Pat Whelan, who deny providing unlawful financial assistance to the Maple ten and Sean Quinn's family to buy shares in the bank in July 2008.
