Cork coastguard still searching for lost man

Valentia Coastguard said the search for a tourist still missing off the Sheep's Head peninsula, Co Cork will resume at first light, if it is safe to do so.

A search operation has resumed this morning for one of two men missing from Sheep's Head peninsula in West Cork.

Dutch friends, 31-year-old Roland Deckers and 33-year-old Othman Rahmouni, went missing from Mr Decker's family holiday home on the Sheep's Head peninsula last Saturday.

The body of one of the men was recovered on Monday afternoon, while the search for the second man had to be stood down yesterday in gale force winds.

Meanwhile Mr Deckers's parents and sister, along with Mr Rahmouni's two brothers have arrived in West Cork to be briefed on the operation.
