Two arrested in €56k Tallaght cocaine haul

Two men have been arrested following a drugs seizure in Dublin.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €56,000 - pending analysis - was seized when Gardaí stopped and searched a car on the Greenhills Road in Tallaght earlier this afternoon.

The discovery was made as part of an investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs.

The men, aged in their 30s and late teens, were arrested and are being held at Tallaght Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.
