A Dublin student has been announced as the overall winner of the 50th BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.

A Dublin student has been announced as the overall winner of the 50th BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.

Fifth year student Paul Clarke, who attends St Paul's College in Raheny, takes home top prize for his project "Contributions to Cyclic Graph Theory".

The 17-year-old was presented with a cheque for €5,000 and will now go on to represent Ireland at the European Union Young Scientist Competition in September.

He also wins a trip to Silicon Valley in California.
