Bridge over River Erne opened

A new bridge over the River Erne has officially opened this afternoon, as part of the Belturbet Bypass in Co Cavan.

It completes 6.7km of the bypass, which will improve road safety and reduce travel times to the west Cavan area.

The total budget for the scheme is €61m.
