Motorists are being warned to remember the morning after while celebrating over the Christmas period.

Motorists are being warned to remember the morning after while celebrating over the Christmas period.

More than 400 drivers have been caught drink-driving between 8am and 1pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings between January and the end of September.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
