Gardaí question man in connection with Phoenix Park murder

A 27-year-old man remains in Garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of a man in the Phoenix Park in Dublin on Friday.

The man was found in a sleeping bag near the Wellington Monument on Friday morning, he had been assaulted and his sleeping bag was set on fire.

The 27-year-old man was arrested on Camden Street in the city centre yesterday.

He is being held at Finglas Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
