Crimestoppers has launched an appeal for information surrounding an armed robbery on a bookmaker in Co Louth two years ago.

The bookie was leaving Dundalk stadium at the end of a race meeting on October 28, 2011, when he was attacked by two men wearing balaclavas.

His bag - with a substantial amount of cash - was taken, and the men escaped in a dark-coloured car which left the scene at speed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers anonymously at 1800 25 00 25.
