Nurses and midwives to get new code of conduct
A new code of professional conduct is being developed for the Nursing and Midwifery sector.
The code sets out five key principals, including respect for the dignity of the person and professional responsibility and accountability.
A series of consultation sessions on the revised code will take place across the country.
Anne-Marie Ryan, chief education officer with the Nursing Board, hopes members of the public will engage during the consultation process.
