Drug-related deaths up 30%

Drug-related deaths have soared by almost 30 percent in recent years according to new figures from the Health Research Board.

The sudden increase is being associated with 'poly' drug use, or using more than one drug at a time, as well as a hike in deaths involving methadone, the legal substitute for Heroin.
