SF councillor to table no confidence motion against Wicklow County Manager

Wicklow County Council is to discuss a motion of no confidence following the sentencing over the Bray firefighters' deaths.

Wicklow Sinn Féin Councillor John Brady will table the motion against County Manager Eddie Sheehy at a specially arranged meeting.

Those in attendance will discuss the sentence handed down in the Central Criminal Court on October 25, in relation to the deaths of Wicklow fire fighters Brian Murray and Mark O'Shaughnessy.

Brian Murray (aged 46) a father of 15 and Mark O’Shaughnessy (aged 26) died while fighting a blaze at a disused ink factory at Adelaide Villas, Bray, on September 26, 2007.
