Groups to send harsh message to Govt from Young People's Assembly

Key issues affecting young people in the Republic of Ireland will be up for discussion at a Young People's Assembly being held in Liberty Hall in Dublin this afternoon.

The assembly, which was organised by campaign group 'We're not leaving', is supported by ICTU Youth, the Students Union Of Ireland and Spun Out.

The campaign group wants to send a strong message to Government on welfare cuts, education funding cuts, poor working conditions and forced emigration.

Laura McKenna, a Young Worker's Network member, is looking for young people to unite and tackle the growing issue of unemployment in Ireland.
