Body of woman, 66 found in Co Wexford

A body, believed to be that of an elderly woman, has been found in Co. Wexford.

The remains were found this afternoon along the River Barrow near New Ross.

The body has not been positively identified but it was found in an area being searched for Statia Purcell, a 66-year-old who has been missing from the locality.
