Aer Lingus hopes to avoid Christmas strike action by staff

Aer Lingus said it hopes travel disruption for passengers in the run up to Christmas can be avoided, following yesterday's union ballot.

Yesterday, cabin crew voted in favour of industrial action which could include strike action.
