A 36-year-old Wexford man has pleaded not guilty to murdering another man in the county more than two years ago.

A 36-year-old Wexford man has pleaded not guilty to murdering another man in the county more than two years ago.

Michael Furlong of Meadowfield, The Moyne, Enniscorthy is charged with the murder of Patrick Connors (37) between April 28 and April 29, 2011 at apartments known as Carraig Túr in Enniscorthy.

He pleaded not guilty when arraigned before the Central Criminal Court today.

A jury of seven men and five women was sworn in to hear the three-week trial, which will begin this tomorrow morning before Mr Justice Barry White.
