Dublin City Council is to close three of its Motor Tax Offices for a week to allow time to process a significant backlog.

Dublin City Council is to close three of its Motor Tax Offices for a week to allow time to process a significant backlog.

The offices at Smithfield, Ballymun and Clondalkin will not open next week to allow time to process 'non-use declarations', motor tax and driving licence applications.

Dublin City Council has apologised for the inconvenience.

They said the Motor Tax Offices in Smithfield, Ballymun and Clondalkin will close from Monday, November 11 to Friday, November 15.

Motorists can continue to pay online at www.motortax.ie or by post to:

Block B,

Blackhall Walk,

Queen Street,

Clondalkin,

Dublin 7

OR

Ninth Lock Road,

Clondalkin,

Dublin 22

OR

Ballymun Motor Tax Office,

Civic Centre,
