Varadkar baffled at 2014 property tax deadline

The Transport Minister has criticised the Revenue Commissioners - saying they have not given him a satisfactory explanation as to why next year's property tax has to be paid this month.

Hundreds of thousands of homeowners who want to pay the tax for 2014 using a credit or debit card or cheque must do so before the end of this month.
