Man killed in Monaghan crash
A man in his mid-20s has died in a road traffic accident outside Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
The twp-car accident happened at Drummondotra at around 7am this morning.
The dead man was the sole occupant of his car.
Two people who were traveling in the other car have been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment. They are not in a life-threatening condition.
The Dundalk exit off the N2 at Carrickmacross is closed until further notice.
