Dublin commuters could be faced with higher fares next year after the National Transport Authority approved hikes of up to 10.3%.

According to newspaper reports, the increases will first apply to annual and monthly Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann and Irish Rail tickets - and then all other commuter services.
