Dissident republican group claim responsibility for body found in North Belfast lake

A dissident republican group has said it killed a man whose body was found in a North Belfast lake.

The claim was made to an Irish News newspaper.

The body was discovered yesterday by police in Alexandra Park.

A post-mortem is to be carried out.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in Alexandra Park between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday morning to contact them.
