Gardaí hunt for man believed to have been abducted in Cavan

There are serious concerns for the safety of a man who is believed to have been abducted in Co. Cavan yesterday.

At around 3.30 pm 31-year-old Richard O'Donovan, who is known to gardaí, is thought to have been taken and bundled into a silver BMW jeep with the registration number 03 MN.

It happened at the Swiftbrook Glen Estate in Virginia, where Mr O'Donovan had traveled in his own BMW car.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
