Divers find body of missing fisherman off Clare coast

The body of a man, who fell into the sea while fishing in Co Clare at the weekend, has been recovered by naval divers.

The 42-year-old Latvian man, who lived in Roscommon, had been washed out to sea while fishing for mackerel on Sunday.

A massive search operation was launched involving the Coast Guard, the Navy and the Gardaí and the man's body was recovered this morning at around 7.30am at Ballyreen near Fanore.
