HSE took two months to carry out medical exam on girl after sexual abuse allegation

It took the HSE two months to carry out a medical exam on a young girl who had made an allegation of serious sexual abuse.

A number of findings have been made against the Executive by the Ombudsman for Children who looked into the handling of the case.
