Man due in Cork court over €32k cannabis find

A man is due in court this afternoon charged in connection with a drug seizure in Cork.

The 48-year-old was arrested after Gardaí stopped and searched a vehicle in Ballincollig yesterday and found €30,000 worth of cannabis resin.

He was taken to Gurranabraher Garda station.

During a follow up search of a house at Greenfields, Ballincollig a further €2,500 worth of the drug was found along with cash.

The 48-year-old will appear before Cork District Court this afternoon.
