Body of man found in Galway city centre

The body of a man believed to be in his 30s has been found in Galway city.

The scene at Shop Street has been sealed off by Gardaí from Mill Street station.

At this early stage the death is not believed to be suspicious

The body - which was found just after 7am this morning - has now been removed to

University Hospital Galway
