Traffic disruption on M8 as vehicle catches fire

The M8 is blocked due to a vehicle on fire on the northbound lane.

Both lanes are reported to be closed on the Dublin-Cork road and Gardaí are on the scene. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

The closure follows an earlier incident involving a truck on fire on the M50 at Junction 7, which was cleared at lunchtime.
