Revenue may collect new broadcasting charge

The Minister for Communications is considering tasking the Revenue Commissioners with collecting the new Broadcasting Charge.

Pat Rabbitte says replacing the current TV Licence with the new charge is necessary - due to changes in technology and high evasion rates.
