Irish women are drinking less during pregnancy, according to new research by a team of medical experts attached to the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland.

However in their report, ‘Alcohol Consumption in Pregnancy: Results from the general practice setting’, the health experts said they are concerned at the amount women drink in the months before they conceive.
