A Labour Court ruling that fixed-term workers at An Post were unjustifiably treated less favourably than permanent staff, has been upheld on appeal today.

The High Court decision relates to a scheme An Post put in place to reduce staffing levels and costs by offering lump sums to permanent staff as an incentive to take early retirement.
