Gardaí make €100,000 drug bust in Cork
Over €100,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí in Cork city.
At around 4.30pm members from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Garda Dog Unit, searched a house on Model Farm Road as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Cork City.
During the discovery heroin with an estimated street value of up to €100,000, along with cannabis herb and resin with an estimated street value of up to €4,000 were recovered along with drug paraphernalia and mobile phones.
A man in his late 20’s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
