Tralee bypass opens to traffic
The new Tralee Bypass was officially opened to traffic today.
The 13.5km stretch of road took two years to complete at a cost of €97m.
The road will connect four of the five national routes (N21, N22, N69 and N70) that end in Tralee and will improve the road transport corridor between Tralee and Killarney, reducing travel time by 12 minutes during peak times.
