Reform may cut funding to third-level colleges by 10%

Third level institutions are facing cuts to their funding of up to 10% if they do not meet new performance targets.

It is reported that colleges and universities will be graded on items including student retention rates, inclusion of disadvantaged students, research and commercialisation.
