Equipment recovered from wreck of The Astrid

Equipment from the sunken ship The Astrid have been recovered from the sea, despite reports that they had been stolen after the loss of the vessel last month.

It had been said that the wheel, bell and compass binnacle from the ship had been stolen by looters in the aftermath of the incident, but the Kinsale Harbour Master has confirmed that they have been retrieved.
