Boy, 3, injured in road accident; Cork Gardaí appeal for witnesses
A young boy remains in hospital in Dublin following a serious road accident in Cork yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm at Barryroe, outside Clonakilty when a car hit the three-year-old.
The child was seriously injured and was transferred to Crumlin Children's hospital in Dublin by air ambulance.
Gardaí at Bandon are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
