Man held over 2007 Co Monaghan murder
A man in his 20s is being questioned by detectives investigating the murder of a man in County Monaghan six years ago.
Paul Quinn was lured to a farm at Tullycorra in Castleblayney on October 20, 2007 where he was held hostage and beaten by a group of men.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he died later that night.
A man in his early twenties was arrested in Dromod in County Louth yesterday morning.
He is being held at Carrickmacross Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.
