Deceased in Dongal road crash named locally

The two young men killed in a car crash in Co Donegal this morning have been named locally as 19-year-old Shaun Graham and 22-year-old Matthew Crawford.

The boys were travelling in a car on the Rathmullan to Portsalon road in the early hours of this morning when their car hit a tree and a wall.

Two other passengers were airlifted to hospital in Derry where they are believed to be in a stable condition.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the single-vehicle crash.

Mayor of Letterkenny, Paschal Blake, met with the families of the victims this evening.
