Man arrested over mother and daughter killing remanded in custody

A 26-year-old man has been remanded in continuing custody charged with the murders of a young mother and her eight-year-old daughter in Co. Kerry.

The bodies of Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika were found in their rented home in Killorglin on June 16.

The court heard that Aurimas Andruska changed his solicitor and free legal aid was granted at the court sitting by Judge Leo Malone.

Judge Malone remanded the 26-year-old on continuing custody

Aurimas Andruska will appear before Cork District Court again on August 28, when the book of evidence is likely to be served.
