'Whistleblower' dismissed from her job, High Court told
The High Court has heard that a woman who claims she is a "whistleblower" has been dismissed from her job at IBM.
Beate Schmid is facing jail for contempt of court for refusing to hand over a memory stick which contains confidential company files.
The case has been put back until October to allow her instruct new lawyers.
The 59-year-old has previously told the High Court that she discovered millions of euro worth of ‘severe discrepancies’ in the computer giant’s sales records.
