Authorities at Letterkenny General Hospital are carrying out a clean-up after torrential rain last night.

Parts of the hospital were flooded, and vsitors are being asked to stay away from the hospital until further notice.

There has been a significant amount of damage and at least four wards are out of action.

Letterkenny General Hospital manager, Sean Murphy described just how much damage has been done.
