Cocaine worth €17.5k seized in Cork

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €17,500 has been seized in Cork.

A 54-year-old man was arrested at Castlemccarthy yesterday afternoon, following the joint investigation by Gardaí and Revenue.

He was held at Mallow Garda Station Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, but has since been released.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
