Police smell something fishy about sardine catch
Spanish customs officials have found £3.6m worth of drugs hidden between layers of frozen fish.
The huge haul of cannabis was discovered stored in between sardines and was taken to a luxury villa on the Spanish island of Marbella, but police smelt something fishy about 325-kilo cargo and seized the lot.
The cannabis was being transported from North Africa to a warehouse in Cadiz in Spain, and additional drugs were later discovered .
A police spokesman said: "A further 570 kilos was intercepted in a warehouse of El Puerto de Santa Marma in Cadiz."
