Man to appear in court in connection with Killorglin double murder

A man in his mid 20s is due to appear before a special sitting of Killarney District Court this evening charged in relation to the murder of 27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her 8-year-old daughter Enrika.

Lithuanian-born Ms Lubiene and her daugher were found stabbed to death on June 16 at their home on the Langford Downs estate just outside Killorglin, Co Kerry.

Ms Lubiene had been living in Ireland for several years and working locally.
