A new train station serving West Dublin will be opened officially today, three years after it was built.

A new train station serving West Dublin will be opened officially today, three years after it was built.

Hansfield has been a ghost station on the M3 Parkway rail route after the station was completed, but no access road was built.

The Transport Minister Leo Varadkar will be on hand for the opening ceremony later this morning.
