Kerry Gardaí continue to question man in connection with double murder

Gardaí in Kerry are continuing to question a 26-year-old man in connection with the double murder of a mother and daughter.

Yesterday, a house at Ardmoniel in Killorglin, about 10 minutes from where the bodies of 27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika were found almost two weeks ago, was searched by Gardaí.

A 26-year-old man, understood to be from Lithuania, was arrested there at about 6am yesterday morning, and he is being held at Killorglin Garda Station.

Meanwhile, the bodies of Jolanta and her daughter are being prepared for repatriation after they were released to the family.
