Man arrested in connection with murder of mother and daughter

A 26-year-old male has been arrested this morning in connection with the murder of Jolanta Lubiene and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika.

The killings occurred in Killorglin, Co Kerry, on June 15/16 of this year.

The suspect was arrested in Killorglin shortly before 6am today.

He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 in Killarney Garda Station.
