Injured Skerries 100 spectator suing for damages

A spectator who suffered burn injuries while watching the Skerries 100 road race in North Dublin is suing Motorcycling Ireland for damages.

The High Court has heard 83-year-old Hamilton Thom from Cookstown in Co Tyrone was hospitalised for 20 weeks and returned home in a horrendous condition following the rally in July 2008.
