Army examine homemade bomb made safe in Tallaght
The Army Bomb Disposal Team made safe a homemade bomb that was found last night in Tallaght in Dublin.
It was discovered under a vehicle outside a private house in the Glenshane area of Jobstown just after 9pm.
A cordon and traffic restrictions were put in place and a small number of nearby houses were evacuated.
The device was then rendered safe without the need for a controlled explosion and the scene was declared safe at 10.15pm.
The device was taken away for further technical examination.
