Gardaí narrow timeframe of Killorglin killings

Gardai in Kerry have also confirmed that both were stabbed to death.

Gardai in Kerry have narrowed the timeframe during which they believe a 27-year-old woman and her daughter were murdered.

Jolanta Lubiene and eight year old Enrika were found dead at their home in Langford Downs in Killorglin on Sunday night.

They had both been stabbed to death.

Gardai now believe they were murdered between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday.

A search for the murder weapon is ongoing and gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
